 Happy Fall!

With cooler weather, comes more time indoors!  The colder months are a great time to find a cozy spot and read a good book.

Students have enjoyed checking out the Halloween and Thanksgiving books. They are now busy checking out the Christmas books.  Many of these titles have "Reading Counts" quizzes, which make them even more exciting to read!

I wish everyone a safe a blessed Advent season!

 Welcome Back to School!

It is so great to be back to school, in person!  I am looking forward to encouraging your child to read for enjoyment, to explore new genres!

Look for a handout coming home soon, to the younger students.  It will give you some basic information about library expectations and offerings!

We always are thrilled to accept donations, whether it is gently used books, paper, gift cards, new books, etc.

Please feel free to reach out to me, should you have any questions or concerns!

Email is the best way to communicate with me, as I often do not have time to check my phone messages, in a timely manner!

Have a great FALL, and keep reading!

Sweet Summertime!

I want everyone to give themselves a huge pat on the back!  We all survived a school year like no other!

I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to have our school and library open all year.  It is always my goal, to have a great selection and variety of books available for our students.

I followed the American Library Association (ALA) guidelines this year and quarantined library books for seven days when returned.  This led to students not being able to check out some books, as often as usual.  It basically led to a two-week turnaround, when a student put a book on reserve.  It was not ideal, but it was the only option.

I am not overly concerned about missing library books this year.  If a list comes home with your child, with overdue library books on it, please simply keep an eye out for them this summer!  Please put them in a safe place, and return with your child this fall!

Have a great summer, and keep reading!
